I purchased this stacker firstly to aid in constructing my shop/barn and then as a utility forklift inside the shop to load and unload machinery, materials and other things. I use it as a jack of all trades when I need to lift something heavy or position something, which is often since I mostly work solo.Overall I’m happy with the quality of the stacker. The fit and finish of the machine is quite good—paint looks nice, the parts appear high quality, and the welds look decent. Over the last year it’s worked perfectly and has never had any electrical issues. I’ve only needed to charge it once in a year of part time use, and it has a nice charging cable that pulls out 4-6’ to connect to an extension cord or wall outlet. 5/5 on this. It’s very strong and the weight capacities are true to what they state—however the capacity goes down as the mast is extended up; something I was not aware of. This model can still lift 1300lbs or so to full height but not the full 2600lbs, which is limited to about 2-3 feet off the ground. I move machinery around that weighs 1500lbs pretty often and it has no problem with that. There are a couple flaws which are common, I believe, to this style of lift that you should be aware of. Firstly, the single drive wheel makes it both highly maneuverable but also lacks grip. If there is anything on the floor at all, even a tiny pebble, it will send the wheel spinning and you’ll have to pull or push pretty hard on the stacker to move it. This happens all the time on my bare concrete floors and it’s pretty annoying. I’d like to look into replacement options for a better grip wheel. The problem gets worse as weight is increased.Second, the arms that extend out for stability are both good in that it gives this a higher capacity than a counterbalanced unit, but also get in a way a lot. You can move them in and out and they include a nice wrench to do it, which helps, but it takes extra time fiddling with the arms. If all your stuff is on the same sized pallets it shouldn’t be too much of an issue. The controls of the stacker are very nice and smooth. It can move faster than you would want to inside and there is a button to go into “crawl” mode for more precise handling. The handle feels more like something made in Germany than Taiwan (I don’t actually know where it’s made). My only regret is not getting a higher lift height. I went with this model because it seemed like a good intersection between price, weight and height. It’s a lot more $ to get a 200” lift height. My ceilings are 20’ at the peak and my walls go up to 13’, so it’s great for anything against the wall but lifting things up to install them in the middle it falls short—yes, this is not exactly the intended use but I would recommend getting as much height as you can if you’re going to use this for a variety of things.
